Which Group Exercise Class is For Me?

There are many physical benefits to group exercise classes, some being: strengthening muscle, building stamina, improving flexibility and increasing muscle endurance. However, one of the reasons group exercise classes are so popular is because they help people accomplish challenging workouts with a fun social aspect.

Group classes are a great way to work out with friends or to meet new people who have similar interests. In this environment it is very easy to compare yourself to others, especially if it's your first group class. Just remember that this is your starting point and you’re there to focus on your goals (not what everyone else is doing!) Group classes are for all fitness levels and many provide movement modifications so don’t worry! Yes, exercise classes can be a challenge, but that makes them excellent for strengthening mental toughness as well.

The fitness instructor who leads the class will motivate you and make it a fun experience!

The following is a description of the group exercise classes offered by Riverside Corporate Wellness.
